We use the highest quality retro-reflective trim. In fact, the quality is so outstanding that each Kidvest is guaranteed to be as reflective after 55 washes as it is the very first day you put it on your child! Our highly reflective trim is sewn on to stay on and can be seen in headlights 700 feet away! This can be life-saving — alerting distracted motorists & giving your child the visibility to avoid possible danger.

Each Kidvest has double-stitched seams for added strength & is individually checked for quality assurance. Our Kidvests are so durable, it’s hard to believe they’re lightweight (approx. 2 oz.) too!

Chocolate, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter? No problem. You name it & our Kidvest has been through every child’s messy favorite foods. Run the Kidvest under cold water to rinse out the spill (if there is one, many wipe right off); apply stain remover & toss in the wash. You’re done & so is that stain.

For over 20 years, Kidvests have been made right here in the USA. But with the closure of every single American manufacturer of our raw materials, we have had to change direction. Our Kidvests are designed in the USA and will continue to be, but as of 2026 materials and assembly will take place overseas. Thank you for your continued loyalty to our company.
